I am presently creating a biographical resource of and for SDA musicians (www.iamaonline.com). I would like to establish contact with Roy Scarr, former teacher at Newbold College in England, for the purpose of creating a biography about him.

If this is read by you, Roy, we met and worked together in 1985 at a music festival at Newbold. I hope to hear from you.

I have Rebecca Scarr who married Samuel Fielder in 1818 at Southwark London. According to Pallots she was born in 1795 daughter of Mary and Robert in Newgate London.
Any connection?

Sarah A. SCARR is the daughter of James SCARR and his first wife Jane RUSTON. James is the brother of my husband's ancestor and I have some info if you are interested. Sarah was likely born in Wellington Co. Ont.: probably either Maryborough Twp. or Peel Twp.

James SCARR married Jane RUSTON as his first wife. I have never found the marriage, unfortunately. Jane RUSTON SCARR died in 1881 and James remarried and eventually moved to the Parry Sound area. I have further info if you are interested.
