My husband's father is Roy Burton Scantlin, born Feb, 1909 in Belcherville, TX, then moved to Ardmore/Lone Grove, OK, then to Fillmore, CA, then to Bakersfield, CA, then to Brookings, OR where he is buried.His brothers were Dewey, Claude, Louie, sisters Ora and Maggie. Their father was James Canada Scantlin, wife Jane. We were told James C.'s dad came directly from Ireland. Any info would be appreciated.
