I am seeking information regarding Jane McClary Scales, born in North Carolina on 10 March 1801 and died in Kentucky on 2 July 1868. She married Presley Piner in Boone County, KY on 23 February 1819. Presley Piner's father, Thomas Piner was born in Virginia, probably Culpeper County, in April 1773, moved to NC in the late 1700s, then moved again to Boone County, KY where he died in 1829.

I have very little information on Jane's family. Hers father was William Scales who was born in Rockingham County - not sure if VA or NC - in 1761 and died there in 1810 Her mother's name was Cynthia. That is all I know. Can anyone provide additional information? Thanks.
