NORTH LIMA – Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday at the Wasko Funeral Home and at 12:30 p.m. at St. Lucy Catholic Church in Campbell, Ohio for Fidelmina Romanzi Scacchetti, 91, who passed away after a long and full life on Aug. 28, 2011, at her daughter’s home in North Lima, Ohio.

Fidelmina was born in Roccagorga, Italy on Feb. 29, 1920, the daughter of Francesco and Fortunata Romanzi.

She and her husband, Frank Scacchetti, were married in 1937.

Fidelmina arrived in the United States in 1956 with her three daughters, joining her husband who came in 1954.
They resided in Campbell from 1956 to 1978, where she was employed by Moyer’s for 20 years.
She was also a member of St. Lucy’s in Campbell, Ohio.

After her husband retired, Fidelmina and Frank moved to Santa Ana, Calif., where they resided until 1995. After living in California, they relocated to northern Georgia.

Fidelmina was a loving wife and mother, an avid cook and enjoyed knitting.

Fidelmina was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; her parents; and her four brothers of Italy.

She is survived by one sister, and her daughters, Caroline (Rudolph) Kogelnik of North Lima, Maria (Dennis) Sell of Texas, and Patricia (Richard) Smith of Georgia.

Fidelmina also leaves behind seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, both in Ohio and Italy.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mary Crowley Cancer Research Centers, a cause that was important to Fidelmina.

The Scacchetti family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell and will receive friends Friday from 10 a.m. to noon.

PANTEGO, TEXAS – Maria Lynn Sell, 65, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2012, in Arlington, Texas.
.

Maria was born July 31, 1946, in Roccagorgo, Italy, to Fidelmina and Frank Scacchetti.
She came to the United States in 1956 and resided in Youngstown, Ohio until 1973 when she moved to Santa Ana, California. She then moved to Arlington in 1981.

Maria enjoyed cooking, crocheting and gardening. Her four grandchildren meant the world to her.

Maria was preceded in death by her mother (age 91) and father (age 97).

Survivors include her husband, Dennis Sell; sisters Patty Smith of Gainesville, Ga., and Caroline Kogelnik of Youngstown; daughter Monica (Steve Rowe) Rowe of Arlington; son James Michael (Kelsey Sell) Sell of Arlington; and grandchildren Trey Rowe, Audrey Rowe, Jacob Sell and Avery Sell


Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6, at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 5819 West Pleasant Ridge Road in Arlington.

Interment will be at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway in Dallas

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway in Arlington.
