While at the library copying obits for someone, I managed to get a copy of the following obituary. While I am in no way related to this person, I wanted to post it in case it is helpful to someone else.

David Sax
David Sax, 67, a former resident of Lowell, who conducted a shoe repair establishment in this city for many years, died December 8 in Boston, after a long illness. He moved from Lowell in 1949 to Ayer, where he made his home. Survivors re his wife, Sarah; three daughters, Mrs. Louis Sacks of Newton, Mrs. Edwin B. Coltin of Ayer and Mrs. Samuel Swardlick of Canton, and six grandchildren. Rabbi Elie Kahn of Lowell conducted the funeral services, which were held Sunday afternoon at the Levine Memorial chapel in Brookline. A brief service was also held in Lowell at the Montefior synagogue, of which he was a member. Burial was in the Israel Brotherhood cemetery, in Pelham, N.H. Memorial week is being observed at his home, 16 Williams street, in Ayer.
