A long time ago you posted on ancestry.co.uk your interest in Sawards from North Essex.

I am researching my wife's family. Her father was Cyril Basil Saward born West Ham in 1915.
her grandfather was Harry David Saward born Halstead 3 October 1872,
her gr grandfather was Samuel born Halstead 26 April 1850
her gr gr grandfather was David born Gosfield 1822 or 1831
her gr gr gr grandfather was William born Gosfield in approx 1785.
These earliest three generations I have found through the Census records.

I have details of their wives and the marriage certs of Harry David and Samuel. I am hoping to identify the wives more clearly, confirm David and William's details and if possible identify earlier members of the family.

Are you stil interested in Saward ancestry? If you are, do any of the above names co-incide with any in you records?
