Hi! The quickest answer is based on where you live ...
There are three main Sawade branches here in the U.S. The largest is that of Johann Gottlieb Sawade; most of the Sawades in Michigan and Ohio are his heirs.
A second branch is Gustav Sawade, he lived mostly in St. Louis; one son lived there, and another went to Colorado. I do not believe the Sawade name carried on through that line.
My own line is that of Charles Francis Sawade, who lived in St. Louis as well. He was my great-grandfather. My grandfather moved to California about 1920 - most of the Sawades in the western US are descended from him.
There are other Sawade families that also appear in the records: in Chicago, Minnesota, New York and elsewhere.
So far I have not been able to tie any of the branches together, at least here in the U.S. I do have some information on most of them though, and I am happy to share with anyone.
