Apparently there are two Savage lines that both were in or about the New York area at the same time and a lot of overlap in given names.

One stay north and went west and apparently has a large amount of research done on it. The other headed south into Arkansas and west into Texas. I am from the Ark Clan.

So far i have not been able to tie these two Clans together or find any record of how my Clan arrived in the US. i would love any documentation or references you have that would help me sort all this out..

The James tie in is where I think i have accidentally jumped into the Maine Savage Clan which lead me to Ireland....
