DEATHS
GIBSON - Mrs. Clara E. Gibson, 71, died at the family residence 106 Short street, Pineville, at 9 p.m. Sunday, September 13, 1942.
She leaves her husband, E. P. Gibson of Pineville; six daughters, Mrs. Katie Hall of Sikes, La., Mrs. Essie Flourney, Mrs. Effie McWilliams and Mrs. Ina Iles all of Pineville, and Mrs. Allie McCann and Mrs. Ollie Iles both of Alexandria rfd; three sons, Martin Gibson of Tioga, Herbert Gibson of Alexandria rfd; and Willis Gibson of Pineville; five brothers, Oliver Satcher, Henry Satcher, Dave Satcher and Roosevelt Satcher, all of Lecompte, and Barney Satcher of Tioga; three sisters, Mrs. Poline Brent of Winnsboro, La., Mrs. Lara Tyler of Alexandria rfd; and Mrs. Eula Crooks of Lecompte; 30 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral procession left the family residence at 4 p.m. today, Monday, September 14, and proceeded to the Pine Grove Baptist church for services and thence to the Pine Grove Cemetery for interment under direction of Kramer funeral home of Alexandria.

GIBSON - E. T. Gibson, 81, of 720 Lakeview street, Pineville, died at his residence at 10 a.m. today, May 24, 1950. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Inez Gibson of Pineville, three sons, Barton Gibson of California, Hebert Gibson of Alexandria, Willis Gibson of California, six daughters, Mrs. Katie Hall of Sikes, Mrs. Essie Flournoy and Mrs. Effie McWilliams, both of Lakeside addition, Pineville, Mrs. Allie McCann of Alexandria, Mrs. Ina Iles of Bunkie, and Mrs. Ollie Iles of Alexandria, three brothers, J. N. Gibson of Corsicana, Tex., W. D. Gibson of Liberty, Tex., and M. E. Gibson of Pineville, one sister, Mrs. Margaret Tyler of Orange, Tex., 31 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
The remains are at the Kramer Funeral home. Arrangements for the service are incomplete at this time.
