Rufus Pinkney M. Sansing (Sandsing) born 1846 Rutherford NC, served in the Civil War; married 1st Caroline Spake; 2nd Mary Canada. Children born SC: Avalona 1874, Alice Rawls 1876, Lillie Dale Allen 1878, Bessie Ellen Allen 1885, and Mary Shedd Morris 1889. Rufus not found on 1850 or 1860 census. Would really like to know who his parents were. All help appreciated.
