I am trying to find anything on my great grandmother Mary Ann Sanders born abt 1845 in Tenn. She married Hugh L Burgess in Tenn. in 1865. Census records say both her parents were born in Tenn. In my hours and hours of searching nothing seems to match.

I have a Mary Ann Sanders born 3-31-1844 in Tennessee. I show her dad as being born in North Carolina but 4 siblings after him were born in Tennessee so it is possible he was, too. I do not have any marriage or family information on Mary Ann. If this is her, her parents are Jacob Sanders and Sarah Perrymore.

Thank you. That is 1 of the several that I had looked at and eliminated based of the North Carolina thing. She listed Tennessee as birthplace for both parents on the 1880
Census. I was hoping someone might have specific knowledge of her. I will have to keep searching. Thanks for your help.
