OK, so I just begun trying to map my Family Tree (how addictive is it btw!).
My name is Lee
SALTER b 08-Dec-1972.
My Father was Harold George
SALTER b 23-Apr-1939 d 30-Mar-1990.
My Mother is Valerie Marie
PRIOR b 27-May-1946.
Unfortunately, I'm not in contact with my father's side of the family and never knew my Grandparents from my fathers side.
I have found out that my Grandmothers name was Louisa
OVERFIELD and that she married a John
SALTER in 1921.
However, I've not been able to narrow down which John
SALTER this could be (there are about 3 possibilities).
Can anybody offer any advice in how I should proceed next? Will ordering the marriage certificate of John and Louisa help?
