I just got chills. I was just talking to my grandfather the other day about his 1/2 sister, Janet. It is such a shame that they lived so close to each other, yet never met. We are sure there was some kind of resentment on Janet's part regarding her 1/2 brother. That resentment is completely understandable given the circumstances of her parents seperation. I would LOVE any information you could offer us about Janet. I also have TONS and TONS of information on her Salsbury ancestors. Janet's middle name, Carolyn, was for her Grandmother, Carolyn (Sprinkle) Salsbury. My daughter is named Carolyn Leslie. My grandfather is Leslie Jr, my dad is a Leslie and so is my younger sister. I have only 2 pictures of Janet that were given to me by Ray Earl of California. If you would like any pictures of the Salsbury side, please let me know. Do you know where Janet is buried?
