Philadelphia Sa(e)gers

Does anyone know anything about a Sager family that lived in Philadelphia during the first few decades of the 1900s? The parents are Harry L Sager and his wife Matilda "Tillie" McClellan. Their children (that I could find any information on) are Charles L, William F, Frances M, James, and Harry G. Charles (1904-1984), known as Chick, married a woman named Lorraine and had a daughter. William (1906-1971), known as Snip, married a woman named Alice M Treffeisen; no kids, as far as I know. Frances (1910?-1931?), I'm told, died at the age of 21 from pneumonia, and James (1913?-1933?) passed at 20 in an automobile accident. If either had a spouse or children, it's news to me. Harry (1913-1992) married Catherine Fitzpatrick (1915-1994), and they had two children: John Francis (1945-2007) and Kathleen Ann (1947-1955). (John would be my dad, hence my interest.) I've been able to push back most of my family tree a few generations at least...but Harry & Matilda remain stubborn enigmas whose names even I'm only semi-certain of. I'm told the Sagers originally came from Germany (where they were the Saegers), then moved to Ireland before coming to the USA. I'm also told that my grandfather Harry Gordon Sager was a sandlot legend in Philadelphia...and that James Sager may have been a burglar. Can anyone help me here?
