Catherine M. Saal
WADSWORTH -- Catherine M. Saal (nee Loehr), 89, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2000, at Sterling Oaks Assisted Living Center.

Mrs. Saal was born in Wadsworth, where she was a lifelong resident. She was a member of the Wadsworth United Methodist Church, its Aldersgate Class, and a seamstress at Swagler's Dry Cleaning in Seville for 20 years. She was a volunteer at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital and the Salvation Army, delivered Meals on Wheels, and enjoyed card playing.

Mrs. Saal is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Jo of Virginia Beach, Va.; daughter, Patricia Goodwin of Wadsworth; grandchildren, Steve (Jane) and Ken (Joanne) Saal, Terry (Andy) Wintersteller, Kathy (Garry) Bicksler, and Ron (Karen) Goodwin; 15 grandchildren; and sister, Emma Gardner of Wadsworth. She was preceded in death by husband, Raymond; and sister, Gertrude Ritzi.

The family will receive friends Thursday, 7 to 9 p.m., at the Hilliard Mullaney Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. Funeral service Friday, 10 a.m., at the Wadsworth United Methodist Church, Rev. James D. Foster and Rev. Carol A. Cutting officiating. Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be made to the Wadsworth United Methodist Church, 195 Broad St., Wadsworth 44281.
