McLaughlin, 76, of
LOWELL, died Sunday, February 22, 2009, at
LOWELL General Hospital, after a brief illness. She was the widow of the late Raymond H. McLaughlin who passed away in 1985. A daughter of the late John J. and the late Anne T. (Bowers)
Rynne, she was born November 23, 1932, in
Somerville. At an early age, she moved to
LOWELL and was raised by her aunt, Bertha
Kelleher on South
Whipple Street. She received her educated through the
LOWELL School System. A homemaker for most of her lifetime, she loved children and will be fondly remembered by many children as 'Grandma', as she was kind, had lots of patience, and always treated children she encountered as well as she treated her own grandchildren. In more recent years, she enjoyed the company and good friends of the D'Youville
Senior Adult Day Care Program. She is survived by nine children, John
