Hello fellow Rybacki family! I was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana. My father was Ernest J. Rybacki, son of Martin and Theresa Rybacki who lived on Birdsell St. I am trying to start a family tree so that we can all find one another. I thought that we were the only family around until I started looking in the internet and found 220 Rybacki families! Surely some of you must be related to our family? If anyone has any information that you would like to share, please contact me at my e-mail address. Thanks a heap.......Lynne Rybacki Johnson

Hello there! My name is Margaret and my maiden name is Rybacki. My father is Alan Martin Rybacki, whom I have not seen in ten years. I do not know who my grandparents are, but I would appreciate any help in finding them. Thank you for your time and consideration. Good luck with the family tree! E-mail me for more info about my family if it would help your endeavor.:)

My ex-husband is a Rybacki--not by blood, he was adopted. His father was Clark Rybacki. Clark lived in Milwaukee while I was involved with the family but I think he lives out West now. He was married to Margie Ludwigson and had 3 or 4 natural daughters. Terry Rybacki and I have a daughter and son together. I hope this is some help.

Hi Lynne. My moms maiden name is Bernice Jean Rybacki. Her Dad, Amslyn was born in or around Johnstown Pa. and married a Jean Gabella from Dubois Pa. They have two daughters Loretta and Bernice both born and reside in New York. My Grandfather Amslyn had 2 sisters Sophie and Marie who lived in Bedford Pa. There were no other males born for the name Rybacki to go on except for cousins, Charles and Chester.

I thought the same thing here....that there weren't too many of us. I know very little about the family - my dad and uncles (2) have never said much, but this might help. From what I have been told, the name "Rybacki" has been "Americanized" (oh, let's make up new words here!) from what sounds like "Rybutski", although I have no clue as to what the real spelling is. My dad is a Joseph S. Jr., born to Joseph S (Sr.) (died 1960)and Stella (born 1906, died 1985)in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Joseph Sr. and Stella lived in Imperial, PA, but I have no idea if they lived there the majority of their years, if they were immigrants, or if they were the children of immigrants.
My dad and his two brothers both live in Beaver County, PA, near each other, and I have a brother in Delaware, cousins in New Mexico and PA. My sister is married and no longer uses her maiden name. Like you, I would be interested in anything anyone else can come up with.

Yes you are correct Rybacki is probably a Amercianization of either rybiski or rybicki both stem from the same family. I have seen Rybacki's in our area here and somewhere have some information on them. I will gladly pass along send me an e-mail. By the way here is Allegan County Michigan, near Grand Rapids.Does anyone know any other family information names of grandparents, brothers or sisters, immigration? Please let me know Tracey trybiski6@aol.com

My maiden name is Rybacki and I am the daughter of Kenneth Lambert Rybacki who died in 1970 at the age of 45. His mother was Johanna Jaworski(who died in 1957 or '58) and Michael Rybacki who died in the early 1930's. Other than aunts and uncles this is the only info I have found thus far. All of the Rybacki's I know were in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Please feel free to e-mail me if you think there is a connection.

I have found a few Rybacki's in my searches and have recorded their information because of the similarity to the Rybiski Rybicki names that I am tracing. I will e-mail you the information, only you didn't include you're e-mail address :O) Tracey trybiski6@aol.com

Re: Rybacki/Rybiski/Rybicki
"Rybacki" is not an americanization, it's an original polish name :>. It's pronounced "Ree-ba-tsky". Its female form is "Rybacka" (in polish), and its americanized version would be "Fisher" :>. Kind regards.
