Thanks for your info. I do not think they are the same person- too bad for me, as you have so much to offer.

Hi: Why do you not think they are the same person? There can not be two Tim Ryans who married Irene who became Irene Ryan (Granny of the Beverly Hillbillies). I may have forgotten to mention that Irene Ryan was my Great Aunt and was Granny. Irene Ryan appeared in many early films--comedy mostly--and mostly B grade ones. She was greatly admired in the industry. I wrote her as a young child and she was always very nice. My mother had a lot of affection for her.

Dear psbeatty,

I am sorry but I am lost. Is this my Aunt Pat's daughter? I don't remember writing about my Tim Ryan being a different person from your Tim Ryan. Could you please refresh my memory. I was looking through the thread and I didn't find anything but that doesn't mean it is not there just that I missed it. Hope to read from you soon.

Kindest regards,
Jim Maguire

Jim, I had questioned about my Tim Ryan from Newark who went to California - it is a different family - it wasn't psbeaty to you - it was from psbeaty to me.

Thanks for clearing that up. Must stop writing things on the fly. Yes, it was to you, not to Jim. Thanks again.

To all, I just finished reading your messages and it helped out greatly. Patrick Joseph Begley is my great grandfather. He married Sarah Crowe and had my grandmother, Beatrice Begley. This would make Jim my father's uncle. Sadly, I heard about jim's passing from his sister Erin kinkade. If anyone has more info I'd appreciate the contact.
