There is more than one Ann Ryall born within a year or two of 1860. Do you have any other clues which might pin down the right one? Father's name (not sure if this is on US marriage certificates) or occupation? Any brothers or sisters known?

Even the tiniest snippet of information might help

Best wishes

Hi
A search of Ann/ie Ryall c1860 returns too many results to identify your missing person. Do you know place/area of birth in England? any names of close relatives in England? what was her employment? when did she emigrate?. Without further clues it would just be guess work.

Have you seen the 1880 census? Next door to Edward, Anna and family is a William Ryal age 23 and family. He was born in England. I would bet anything that this was Anna's brother.
I had a look at New York Passenger Lists, 1820-1957 and on June 27 1870 on a ship named the Idaho I found (attached) Mary A. Ryhall 36 and daughters Ann age 10 and Jane an infant and on the next page of the passenger list (also attached) there was William Ryall age 13 and Margaret Ryall age 15. I think this may be your family.
I have found this family in Saratoga Springs in 1880 father is William a Farmer. Daughter Maggie (Margaret) is married to Frank McMann. Of course Anna/Ann/Annie and William are not with this family as by 1880 they were both married with families of their own.

Best Wishes,
Denise

If you go the Findagrave.com you will find a photo of William and Mary Ann's grave marker. They were buried at Southside Cemetery of Sarasota Springs. William died in 1898 and Mary Ann in 1893.
