Joe, this is a shot in the dark, but I wonder if we might be related. I've vaguely heard of a grandfather named Leo coming in through Galveston. Actually, what I'd heard was of the grandfather coming in through Ellis Island, then sending for his wife a child back in Czechoslovakia. Then they came through Galveston. Leo may have been the grandfather or father of my grandfather, John Joe or Joe John (I never knew him), who lived in West, TX until his death in 1969. Think there's any connection?

By the way, Leo or his family was supposedly from Lipnik in what is now the Czech Republic.
