Monica, I am the daughter of Daniel Ruiz of San Diego formerly of Dixon, CA. He is the son of Petra Rubalcava and Tereso Ruiz, my dad says they moved to Los Angeles from Juchipila to get away from the Mexican Civil War. Later settled in Ensenada Mexico. Petra and Tereso had Conrad, Daniel, Francisco/Pancho, Jessie, Gloria and Moises. Which one of them is your grandparent? I know we are related. I may have found Petra Rubalcava and Tereso Ruiz marriage license at Ventura County Records I am going to order to and hope their parents are listed.

Hi! My name is Yessica Ramirez, my cousin has traced our paternal line to a lady named Maria Jesus Rubalcalva who married Jose Maria Tejeda in Yahualica, Jalisco on January 7, 1861. Her parents were Jose de los Angeles Rubalcaba and Agapita Gomes. They too were married in Yahualica on March 2, 1835. I have Jaregui lineage too but they were from my grandmother's side not my grandfather's. They all lived in Yahalica for as far back as 1835. Do these names ring a bell to any of you?

Patti is my first cousin. Anyway, I asked around and my Grandpa Isidro Rubalcava's mother is Petra(not sure of the maiden name) and his dad's name is Leonides Rubalcava Jauregui. My grandma's(Micaela Rubalcava) parents' names are Senobio Rubalcava and Braulia Rubalcava Placencia. Do these names sound familiar? I'm sure I botched the spelling. Also, I did find a cousin who lives in San Francisco. He is also a great-grandson of Senobio Rubalcava. My family grew up in La Estancia, which is a tiny ranch close to Yahualica but I think the older generations were raised in La Leonera, Jalisco.
