Bury Russell At Seattle
Seattle, May 22. Funeral services for the late State Senator Samuel Scott Russell, who died at Pomeroy, were held in that city yesterday. The body was shipped, by way of Portland, to this city for interment. The body is due in this city Tuesday morning and will be taken to Butterworth & Sons’ Chapel.

Interment will take place at Lake View Cemetery, Wednesday, under the auspices of Arcana Lodge, No. 87, F. & A.M. Members of the Knights of Pythias and the Woodmen of the World lodges, of which the late Senator was a member, will attend the services. Rev. Samuel L. Friedland, pastor of Plymouth Congregational Church, will officiate.

Mr. Russell was the first of a family of ten brothers and sisters to pass to the world beyond. He leaves besides his wife and little daughter, Ruth, brothers and sisters as follows: H.A. Russell of Kendrick, Idaho; J.W. of Nevada, Missouri; F.B., C.A., J.B., F.B. and E.J. of Greenville, Pennsylvania; Lillie Mitchell, of Wheatland, Pennsylvania; Mrs. Alma Bealer, of Jamestown, New York and Mrs. Dilla Blumber, of Greenville, Pennsylvania.

Mr. Russell was an honored member of the Masonic Order, Nights of Pythias and also of the W.O.W. Lodge and the funeral rites will be conducted by the members of these fraternities.
