I am looking for information on the Rushforth family who lived on the Oakport Demesne,Ardcarne near Boyle,Co.Roscommon Ireland. John Rushforth was a gamekeeper on the estate. John and his wife Mary Wood were born in England. They married in Wales in 1877.The following sons emigrated to New York.> George,Sydney Thomas, Albert Edward ,Arthur .Another son, Charles Rushforth was killed in WWI and is buried in France.
