I was given an old book to transcribe by a friend. The book appears to be a collection of newspaper articles that were glued into an exsisting book. Many articles have no dates. All of the articles are from Ohio.
There are at least two articles in this book pertaining to Jessie H. Rupert.
Two women and man victors in divorce suits
Two women and one man Saturday obtained divorces after brief hearings of their cases in Judge E. E. Everett's court. They were Viola M. Layton, Jessie H. Woten and Clarence Zickafoose. (The article goes on to tell about each case but I have only included the info for Jessie)
Mrs. Jessie Woten's divorce was brought by Opal LaFollette Woten against H. D. Woten, and the decree ws obtained after assertions of extreme cruelty had been lodged. Mrs. Woten obtained custody of her daughter.
The next article is about Marriage License Applications.
