Thanks for your reply Charles. Yes I agree it's most interesting. The STUMP family of Malmsbury, Wiltshire have quite a long recorded history. It was of this family that Anne Phenicia STUMP belonged. I think I have found her death recorded in the UK and will be sending for her death certificate in the next few days - which might help a little. Nevertheless, I'll keep you posted if anything of substance arises from my further research.
