AUSTINTOWN - Franklin E. Rudolphi, 71, passed away Saturday morning, August 22, 2915 at the Hospice House, Poland, Ohio.
Franklin was born July 23, 1944, in Youngstown, Ohio (Mahoning County) the son of Albert N. and Frances Trumfio Rudolphi.
He was a 1962 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School, where he was a participant on the football and track teams.
Following high school, Franklin went on to serve in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1965.
He worked for Youngstown Steel Door as a draftsman, and then for Federal Wholesale of Hubbard as a truck driver.
Franklin was a member of the Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Lucy Catholic Church.
Franklin leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, the former Rose Ann Cerimele, whom he married July 19, 1997; his children, Albert (Sara) Rudolphi, Jessica Rudolphi and Daniel Rudolphi; three grandchildren, DJ, Aaron and Taylor; his siblings, Grace Ann (Bill) Boros, Carmel (Al) Gerlick, Alberta (John) Popovec, Edward (Ginny) Rudolphi, and Marybeth Rudolphi Jamieson; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather John Kollar; and his brother-in-law, Cliff Jamieson.
The Rudolphi family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m., prior to the 10 a.m. funeral services at the church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Lucy Catholic Church
