My grandfather was John Charles Ruback Sr. The tale I have is when he came to America from Prussia he americanized his name from Rubach. He was born about 1874 and died about 1943. He was married to Lucia Pauline Grieme.

My great grandmother was Marie C. Rubach who married John F. Nelson. I can not find any information about her or her siblings, John Rubach, Frank Rubach, Edith Rubach Timmerman, or Lena Rubach Moeller. The family came from Quilow, Germany and travel to the US in about 1871.
