No, but I find your inquiry intriguing. My brick wall is Phineas George ROYCE, b. 20 Mar 1816 in Pomfret, VT. His mother was Mary C., and she died 13 Feb 1826. Phineas had 7 children 1845-1858, and when he disappeared before the birth of the 7th, that family was split up also -- two died young, one child stayed with Phineas' wife, one was adopted, one was in the poor house, and a couple of others don't show up in the 1860 census. Might your Mary E. and my Phineas be sister and brother? Names of Phineas' children were Ruth, George, Lyman, George Harvey, Charles William Henry, and Carl Willis.
