Currently researching ROWAN family ancestory and descendants in Australia especially Joseph Rowan police magistrate in Blackwood and Beechworth Victoria.

Particularly his descendant families from his two wives 1. Margaret Keiran and 2. Ellen Niall.

Margaret died in New Zealand after the death of their young daughter Josephine. Joseph then married Ellen Niall - they lived in The Magistrate's house in Beechworth in the late 1800s & early 1900s.
