PICKERINGTON: Phortia R. Stevens, age 69, of Pickerington, Ohio died Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at her residence.

Born June 13, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Harvey and "Dollie" Rostorfer.

She had a masters degree from The Ohio State University, and was a retired teacher at SW Licking Schools.
She was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, past member of the Buckeye Lake Yacht Club, and was a member of various horse, rabbit and car clubs.
She was a classical pianist, and a member and deacon of First United Presbyterian Church in Pataskala, Ohio. (Licking County)
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Stevens in 2012.

A memorial service will be held 11 am Saturday, March 14 at First United Presbyterian Church, 405 S. Main St., Pataskala,OH.
In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to contribute to their favorite charity in Phortia's memory.
