We are looking for desendant of Hugh Ross III who married Lady Janet of Southerlandshire Scotland. Hugh Ross III was the Lord of Balnagown in Scotland. Lady Janet was the daughter of the Earl of Southerland Sugerlin or Suqerlin of Southerlandshire Scotland. As we know of, Hugh and Lady Janet had three sons and one daughter, possibly other children. The names we do know are: Daniel born 1760 in Southerlandshire Scotland; James born about 1776 in Southlandshire Scotland; and Andrew unknown birth and daughter name unknown.
Daniel married Mollie MacDonald in Chickamauga, GA or TN in 1786. He died 22 May 1830 at Chickamauga.

James was born about 1776 in Southerlandshire Scotland. His wife was a full blood Cherokee Indian. James died in Benton County Arkansas in 1840. James Ross was the father of John P. Ross.

John P. Ross was born in TN in 1801. He married Martha, born in NC in 1799. They were the parents of William B. Ross, born in TN in 1829, and he married Martha Candis, born in GA in 1832.
William B. Ross and Martha were the parents of: Martha Candis Ross, born 1855 in Benton Co. Arkansas. John H. Ross born 1858, in Benton County Arkansas; William Ross born in 1859; and James Riley Ross, born 1860.

We are trying to find out the children of James Ross and his wife of Cherokee descent?
Also Andrew Ross' family and children.
