The Root-Roots DNA site is still looking for males with the Roots and Rootes surname to have testing done.
The project would like all male genealogists to take this approach to connecting to others. I on one hand have a strong interest in connecting to the different surnames of the Weald of Kent. I also have trance lines of Roots to Canada, Randolph County Illinois, and Fulton County NY. Would love to be able to confirm by DNA testing. This is a real excited time for researchers.
