Today posted some recently located ROOTS-SWINSON family info regarding my ancestors at:

Successfully identified most of my ROOTS family ancestors who migrated from Niagara County, New York to Erie County, Pennsylvania, then to Illinois (mostly Kane County). Three brothers fought in our Civil War, where one died and two came home. After Civil War some migrated to McPherson, Pratt, Barber and Reno Counties in Kansas and Woods County, Oklahoma. I was finally able to locate a lot of "missing links" and incorporate into one database that also includes surnames of WAIT; PIERCE; SHEPARD; SWINSON; CHENOWETH; BURR; et al.

My grandmother on the Swinson side of family was Laura Em ROOTS, dau. of Samuel Peleg "Sammy" ROOTS of Erie County, Pennsylvania, whose father was George Franklin ROOTS of Niagara County, New York.
