I've seen postings and family trees showing John Root b. Dec. 28, 1777 in Waterbury, New Haven,CT and d. April 26 1844 in Barkhamsted,Litchfield, CT. But I have never seen a source for the death date and place.

Does anyone have a source for his death date?
