I wonder if you have any information that would help me with my other brick walls?

(1) Who are the parents of Thankful Stevens, who married Chauncey Root?
(2) Is Chauncey related to Asa Root, one of the prominent settlers in Cananadaigua?
(3) The parents of Chauncey were Stephen and Cynthia Chapin Root. According to one genealogy (Descendants of Hannah Miner http://tmsociety.org/thomas/hannah/aqwg23.htm#153886C), Cynthia was born 4 Apr 1785 in Enfield, Hartford, Connecticut. Yet, according to a number of sources, her mother, Cynthia Perkins Chapin (c 1763-1784) died a year earlier on 29 April, having married Nathaniel Chapin on 1 January that year. Is Cynthia Chapin's birthdate incorrect as stated? Did Nathaniel remarry after Cynthia Perkin's death?
