I am searching for the ancestors of John Joseph Roof. According to the IGI (Familysearch.org) John Joseph Roof is the son of George Roof and Minera E. Grant.

John Joseph Roof was born 17 july 1859 in Chester County, South Carolina. He died 24 august 1958.

Does anyone have any more information on this family ?
