I would like nothing more than this to be the right family. But I only know of brothers coming here.I am seriously not looking for anything at all but his family. There are two brothers that I know of in the U,S. Osvaldo and Rafael, the rest of the family remained in Cuba but I would still like to hear your story maybe they are connected in another way. What city in Cuba did they come from? You did not supply an e-mail for me to reply to.

Hello My name is Vicky, My mother last name is Rojas from Cuba.I like you am researching my family and its origins. They came here in the early 1960s also and have contact with other Rojas family in the Florida Keys. Some have moved away but they are from the line of Gustavo Rojas he is my deceased Grandfather.if you want to know more contact my email. From what I hear the Rojas name came from the Spainards they inhabited Cuba and the native cuban indians in specific the Taino Indians from there were given this name from them to discribe their skin color or the red paint they would wear on there faces.Their is a whole history to this.
Hi,
I'm not sure if this helps or not?
I'm a Rojas, my dad is Heraclio Rojas he was born in Panama, but his parents were from Colombia, South America.
My dad told me of a cousin of his that moved to the US in the early 1930's or so.
He was some kind of railroad employee or investor.
The thing is that his cousin died young from the flu.
At that time, the railroad company was trying to locate his family in Panama to claim some kind of life insurance or something related to the "rail road"
I don't have much information just that I had a distant family member from my dad's side that did come to the US early in the 1930's or so, worked for the railroad or invested and died young from the flu.
Hope this helps you.
Amelia Rojas (I was born in Panama)
aerojas@aol.com

Mary Bush Rojas was the great great granddaughter of David McNeely. During the 1960s, Mary was very involved in researching the McNeely family. If I have found the correct Death Record, Mary died in 1999. I desire to make contact with any descendant that may have inherited the records that Mary had on this family.

Regards, Tom Roberts
Lccnorth@windstream.net
I really hope you can understand this. My name is Victor Ferdinand Rojas, I am a 49 year old American of Filipino descent. I was born in Manila in 1960 to Renato deLeon Rojas (father) and Lydia Santuile Rojas (mother). My paternal grandparents' names are Jose Rojas and Olympia deLeon Rojas, both originally from Nueva Ecija, Philippines. An unsubstantiated rumor within my father's family states that we have an ancestor who may have been a Mexican or Spanish merchant, who came to the Philippines to seek his fortune via the Acapulco-Manila trade routes. Time is unknown.

I do know that my father did live in California for a very long time before he met my mother. We have an aunt that also lives in Iowa, that would be Martha Rojas-Pruitt. I have met Julie when I was younger, but I am not sure if I have ever met Flora.

I know it's been a while since you have posted, but hopefully you will get this and respond.

Thanks
Rachel
