I have next to nothing as far as information goes on my 2nd great-grandmother, Emma Roginski. She was born in Russia and died somewhere around 1908 in Denver, CO. She married Max Sherman (either in Sioux City, IA or Omaha, NE). They had 7 kids: David Trustin Sherman, Sol Sherman (my great-grandfather), Ida Sherman, Percy Sherman, Anna Sherman, Ben Sherman, and Dorthy Sherman. I know Max is buried in Council Bluffs, IA. Would love to find some new relatives! vetranbabe@gmail.com

I ran across that name DROLET in a family group chart another person sent me last year. Until then I had no information whatsoever. I DO have much information on the LALONDE, BADOUR, NELLETT and GROULX (and various spellings). So, if you'd like any specific information, drop me an e-mail at ballpark_frank at (that would be the '@' sign...no spaces) hotmail (dot) com. I've got loads of information that I haven't uploaded yet (never-ending search - lol). I haven't really pursued the DROLET connection much, and sounds like there may not be much in this area. I'll try to check with the County Building on that Josephine. As for the grave, I'd imagine that would probably be in the Detroit area. Thank you for responding.

btw... I'm located in Bay City, Michigan.

Again, thank you
Francis (Frank) LaLonde

I noted a request for information on an Irene Lalonde. I am searching for information on Irene Lalonde as well, daughter of Frank Lalonde and Grace Foster. She was from Detroit, Michigan where she worked at one time as a cigar maker. She was married October 13, 1925 in Detroit to Albert Drolet, originally from Canada, who resided in Bay City, Michigan. His parents were George Drolet and Estella Loupert. Albert's daughter from his first marriage, who is now 93, is trying to find out where he is buried and what he might have been like (occupation, other children, etc.). He was denied contact with her after his divorce from her mother, Josephine, when she was a toddler. She saw him briefly on a bus in Bay City, Michigan before he apparently moved to detroit and married Irene. Any info would sure be appreciated!

My uncle was Edward Roginski, he was married to a woman named Florence, and they had four children, one named Edward junior to whom we still refer to this day as "Little Eddie" even though he's well into his 50's. They lived in Wyandotte, Michigan. Uncle Eddie wasnot married to an Irene Lalone, but a Lalond family lives next door to my sister on grange road in trenton, michigan, and that family has ties to my aunt delphine's husband (aunt delphine was uncle eddie's little sister, and her husbands name was Raymond Ganghamer.).
Hope this helps.
Paula miller

My name is Francis LaLonde. My father was Frank LaLonde, born April 12, 1900; died Oct 22, 1969 -- Bay City, MI. I've been trying to track down an aunt -- Irene LALONDE (not sure about the last name, could possibly have been GROULX, along with various spellings for both names). She married an Ed or Edward ROGINSKI. The only information I've found are some references to Plymouth (Michigan?), Schoolcraft (Michigan?), and Detroit/surrounding suburbs. I have had no luck here in Bay County, Michigan. Any information would be very appreciated. I'm willing to share what information I've got also. Thank you very much.
