Hello,

I am researching the Rogers/Russell family from Bedfordshire.
I have hit a brick wall and so asking anyone that might have information or just a knowledge of that area to get in touch.

There is a family story that states that the Russell's are linked to the Dukes of Bedford, I am trying to find out if/where this connection is - Likely to be 2nd or 3rd cousins links most likely, but as i can not find the records i need - I'm not sure how to continue.

The family is:

Francis Rogers
Born -1765 Kempston, Bedfordshire
Death: 1847 Kempston, Bedfordshire

Marriage: Elizabeth Russell - (Can not find her parents, but know she had a brother called John, who they lived with in 1841)
Born - 1766 Bedford
Death - 1843 Kempston, Bedfordshire

Their children are: - they possibly had more but i don't have the records.
Elizabeth (1789-)
Martha (1791-1792)
Martha (1794-1808)
Rebecca (1798-)
(Rebecca married Charles Wykes which is the family my partner is descended from)
