I am searching for information on the parents of my great-grandfather George Edward Rogers (1880-1936)

George had a sister named Placeder Rogers (1879-1961).
Placeder is listed as living with their parents:

Henry b. 1858
Theodoria/Theodosia b. 1857

Henry and Theodosia only appear together in the census of 1880 and are listed in Privateer, Sumter with baby daughter Placeder.

The only other mention of Henry is on George Edward Rogers's death certificate which lists Henry as his father.

Does anyone have an information or even in clues to which family this Henry Rogers may have belonged? I've searched the other Sumter 1880 records but have yet to find any other Rogers that might be related to this family, so I"m thinking they moved to Sumter from somewhere, but from where I'm not sure!
