I am trying to find information on my great-great grandparents but I'm coming to a dead end.

My great-grandfather was George Edward Rogers (1880-1936).
His father's name was Henry Rogers.
We know that George was born in Sumter, SC and had a sister named Placeder Rogers.

The only record I can find regarding this family is the Census of 1880, which lists this family living in Privateer, Sumter County, South Carolina:
Henry Rogers b. abt 1858
Theodocia (maybe Theodora or Theodoria) Rogers b. abt 1857
Placidia (Placeder) Rogers b abt 1879.

George moved to Newberry at some point and married (1) Annie Belle Bouknight and (2) Amberzine Fowler before moving to Union, SC.

Does anyone out there have information on this family of Rogers in Sumter County, SC? Thanks for any help you can offer!
