Hello,
Our Roger family is from Normandy, and Paris, France. Our ancestor immigrated to San Francisco in 1870's. I have a complete tree since then. I am looking for family in France or family in the U.S. who are related to our oldest known ancestor: Joseph Laurent Justin Roger of Normandy or Paris. He lived in Le Harvre, and Paris. He had degrees in both Mathematics and Philosphy.(That was unusually academic for those times) I beleive he taught at a University. I am sure he had brothers and ofcourse a father Roger. Names in this Roger Catholic family are: Joseph, Leon, Henri, Denis, Paul. Are you decended from French Roger folks?

Roger family from Nahant Ma

I am trying to locate two siblings, who also had another sibling or perhaps two. Don't recall, right now. Neal was the oldest, and I think he had a sister name Tina, and or Mimi.
They, I belive, lived near the Catholic Church in Nahant back in the 1950's. My uncle Ted Tuffli, was a special friend to them and Neal especially was over at my Aunts and Uncles a lot.. Helen Tuffli and Ted are both deceased now. Helen died in Jan of 1992, and Ted had died in Oct of 1988. I just want to know how you are all doing. I suspect your childhoods weren't too terific. Maybe you have stories and memories of times you spent with Ted and Helen. Are any of you married, any children, grandchildren etc. I guess I should tell you that I am one of Ted and Helen's nieces. Rember Barbara, Peter and Linda?
Anyway if anyone knows these people would you please let them know I sent this, and would love to hear from them.
Thank you
Barbara Nsambradley@aol.com

My grandmother Evelyn Roger HEGGELAND was born in Chicago 24 Jan. 1910. Her father was from Oslo, Norway, so the "Roger" middle name is most likely a family name from her mother's side. Her mother was Minerva Belle (or Isabelle) MARGETTS. I believe that her father MARGETTS may have married a Miss ROGER OR ROGERS. Thanks Cath
