I am a descendent of Jean Pierre Roger and Anne L'espine Roger of France. They were supposedly from near the city of Bordeaux, but I have no information on a town. Jean Pierre was listed as a "commercant" by trade and supposedly spent 1763 and 1764 hiding in the mountains of southern France due to religious persecution. If you have any information about this family prior to 1764, I will be glad to share post 1764 information.
