My gggrandfather, Mack Roden lived in Monette,MO. Married to Nancy Ann Smith b. around 1866? They had five kids, Sidney, John, Henry, Fred, and Sarah Jane and am told there was another brother named Jim who died young. Mack died when Sidney (b.1882) was 7. In 1898 John and Henry went to OK for the land rush. Sidney and Fred went with Nancy, their mother to Jackson County, AR. Sarah Jane stayed in MO awhile and married Henry Young. I can't find a 'Mack'anywhere,a nd I'm assuming it could be a nickname. They were from Barry county MO, and Choctaw Co. OK.I have found something I think could be a clue. Nancy A. Smith had an older sister named Caroline (I think) who married Greenberry Roden. I don't have anything more than this really.Ive been following Debbie Roden Bonaparte in the bb and hope she sees this. Maybe we have some connetions here. Thanks.
