I was trying to be sure that this Elizabeth was the correct one. I believe that she is b/c things seem to match. She is the dau of Wm Brooks b. abt 1798 SC.(1850 Cobb County, GA census) Some question as whether b. in SC or GA. I think it may be a census taker's error.

JW Brooks - my gr grandfather and Elizabeth's nephew - JW was s/o her brother Joseph b.abt 1832

Jim Brooks was s/o JW - never married - family story was he was hit by a train at Spring Street viaduct and killed while visiting Atlanta

SA ( Sarah Ann Harrison)Brooks was wife of JW but she isn't buried there. She died while living w/her son in FL and is buried there.

Sarah Brooks Crowe is buried betweeb JW and Jim. She was d/o JW and m. Jesse Crowe of Marietta, GA

I went for years w/o knowing anything and recently there has been a flood of info! Many Brooks relatives found in Cobb County-many near Acworth.
