Trying to find anything about my gggrandfather born in Ysbyty Ifan about 1805. He died in Beddgelert.He lived in Penrhiw goch Nant Gwynant His first wife Jane died 1866.Mother of my greatgrandfather Robert Roberts. He then lived in Beddgelert. Died 1891 age 85. Robert Roberts jnr was killed in Cwmorthin quarry in 1882 age 40

The 1861 census has a Robert and Jane living in Llanelian yn Rhos but, strangely, there are two sons with the name Williams. Does that mean anything to you?

my granmother lived in cwmorthin and there was too william her brothers if im right one dide very young , i have a famly tree of her famly if you would like to hav a look at , so you can see if it helps you .

My ggreat grandfather Robert Roberts jnr only worked at the quarry ,he lived in Beddgelert.Went home weekends.
