Sarah this is many years later from your message but I am looking for my namesake gggrandfather Benjamin F Roberson... I have him in Washington in the 1860's... but the only I have prior to that was he stated birth state of Illinois in 1835... Just hoping there could have been a link... His father was born in North Carolina and it seems funny that these farmers would migrate so far from the type of farming that they would have been used to...
