I've been searching direct lines only. I do know they have a daughter named Mary Elizabeth Hartery. B. 7 Jul 1889 in Brewer, Penobscot, ME. Died: 18 Mar 1965 in Bangor, Penobscot, ME. Buried: 22 Mar 1965 in Brewer, Penobscot, ME.

Mary Elizabeth Hartery married Lawrence Stanley Hodgins 29 Sep 1909. I have his information as well.

My ancestry has an Ann Roach born 1859 in Kent County New Brunswick, close to Miramichi, daughter of Anthony Roach and Mary O'Meara...we don't know what became of her, although we have developed all her siblings lines.

Bernard Patrick Hartery was the son of Edward Hartery & Margaret Sands. Edward was born in Ireland in 1831and he died in Douglasfield (now part of the city of Miramichi) on Apr 4, 1910 of 'old age and grippe'. He was a farmer.

Edwaard & Margaret had 8 or 9 children:
Mary married John Miller
Ellen married George Swain
Michael
William married Alice Bracken
Edward J. Jr married Mary Howley
Martin J.
John Nicholas

Then there are references to a Bernard Patrick or a Benedict.
The names are so similiar, I don't know if they are one in the same or two different people.
I hope this helps. I do have a bit more information on some descendants.

Andrea
