I have recently found my RITTERs in Galena, Illinois. They are Nellie(mom) Henry, Anna, Louis, Fritz and John. I believe their father to be John Ritter born Prussia. This information was found in the 1880 census. Henry was listed as 18 born in Prussia. This family has been a hard one for me. Anna is my gr-grandmother b. 1863 in Galena. Anyone with any information on this family would be most welcome. Thank you in advance.
