I can't help you, but since your are looking for Ritchie's in Jamaica, so am I. My father Albert Joseph Ritchie married my mother Enid Burke (her mother Beryl Belanfantie and father Vernon Burke) in St. Catherines, Treadways. Apparently my father went to Jamaica on a Canadian Gov't contract to help build schools in Jamaica. This is how my parents met. After they married my father changed his name to Ritchie, it used to be Richer. My brother Devon Lloyd Ritchie was born in 1961 Treadways. My father is originally from Limoges, Ontario, Canada (a french community). After my parents divorce my mother found out that my father was previously married and never divorced. She believes that we could have siblings living in Jamaica. My mother was only 16 at the time and my father was in his 40's. My father married another Jamaican women, Coca (don't know her last name) and brought her here to Ottawa, Canada in the 1990's to live and still lives. I don't think there is a connection between our searches, but maybe we can help each other.
